Failed to create Item with error:
Business Validation Error: When you create an item, if Track quantity on hand is turned off, the item cannot be of type Inventory.
This Item was used on the following transactions:
*Invoice ####, Line (ID #####) with description "[product description]"
Turn on Track Quantity on Hand in QuickBooks Online to resolve.

Cause

This error is being presented by QuickBooks Online and is referring to the Product Type in ConnectWise is marked as an inventory item. As a result QuickBooks Online and thus is trying to add the product listed in the error as an inventory item. In this case the Track Quantity on hand setting in quickbooks is disabled.

You will need to make a decision. If you would like to start tracking inventory in QuickBooks Online, You will need to enable "Track Quantity on Hand" in QuickBooks Online. Please review the Quantity on hand is not enabled knowledge base article for detailed instructions.

If you do not want to Track Inventory in QuickBooks Online, you will need to change the Product Type for the product listed in the error to a non-inventory type.
